Drinkuit

A fun gadget, that refers directly to Brueghel's painting, "The Farmer’s Dance”! A drinkuit is a so-called snakerij, similar to the yard-of-ale: a glass that was very much in vogue in the sixteenth century. It was created to make the user drink more than he could possibly drink.  It has a round bottom and because it does not have a foot it will never stay upright. You have to drink it in one go after which you put it down upside down on the table and it is refilled.
